What it answers

Chance, risk and budget

The calculator finds your chance of at least one target result, the risk of getting none, the expected hit count and an optional total resource budget.

Blank player inputs accept target probability, reroll count and optional cost, then calculate at-least-one chance, zero-hit risk, expected hits and total budget with a visible non-official-rate warning.

Blank custom inputs for target probability, reroll count and optional cost return at-least-one chance, zero-hit risk, expected hits and budget. The result uses a visible non-official-rate warning.

Blank player inputs for target probability, reroll count and optional cost calculate at-least-one chance, zero-hit risk, expected hits and total budget with a visible non-official-rate warning.

Important limit

Read the current game first

Rates and reroll rules can change. Copy the percentage from the live game and do not assume attempts are independent if the game displays a pity or guarantee.

Method

The calculation behind the result

For chance p and rerolls n, the chance of at least one hit is 1 − (1 − p)ⁿ. Zero-hit risk is (1 − p)ⁿ, expected hits are p × n, and budget is n × cost.

Use displayed odds

A result is only as reliable as the percentage entered. Do not borrow rates from another game or an old update.

Average is not certainty

Expected hits describe repeated budgets across many trials. Any one set of rerolls can finish above or below that average.

Stop rules matter

Choose a maximum budget before rerolling. Recalculate if the displayed rate, cost or pool changes.

FAQ

Trait reroll questions

What Anime Origins trait odds should I enter?

Enter only the probability displayed in your current game. This page does not prefill an unofficial rate.

Does the result guarantee a trait?

No. It estimates repeated independent attempts and does not add a pity system unless the game confirms one.

What does expected hits mean?

It is the long-run average across many comparable budgets, not a promise for one player.

Why is the cost optional?

Resource names and costs have not been directly confirmed, so the calculator accepts the current value you see.

Can I enter a very small probability?

Yes. The calculator accepts percentages down to four decimal places and keeps extra precision for small results.
